Transforming the Dream Garden! - Ideal Home Show 2025

Celebrating its 117th annual exhibition, the Ideal Home Show opened its doors to home, décor, and garden enthusiasts for over 2 weeks in March and April 2025 - and we were lucky enough not only to attend, but have our products exhibited!

Drenched in an iconic green and pink cari squiggle pattern, the halls of Olympia were bestrewn with endless inspiration for interiors, gardens, health and beauty, and cooking alike. Thousands weaved in and out of stands, interactive demonstrations, and exhibits, eager to spark some imagination on elevating daily experiences with beautiful products.

Our focus when visiting these shows is to identify the up and coming colour, pattern, and product trends to inspire future collections and ensure we are delivering the best on-trend makeover kits for all of you! So we were on the hunt for what could really transform a space from drab to fab...

Upon arriving, we were quick to realise this show truly lives up to its prestigious reputation. We were particularly enamoured by some of the quaint and quirky items in the main hall that injected life and personality to the area and the elegant use of patterns within the Dream Home exhibition to uplift and soothe.

Here are our main takeaways from the Ideal Home Show 2025:

Predominant Pastel Presence

Interiors stands and exhibitions were splattered with whimsical pastel hues - furnishings painted head to toe in gorgeous muted takes on some of the trending colours we have seen for 2025.

Sense of Humour

It was incredibly refreshing to see products that encouraged not being afraid to add a sense of humour to your décor. Sometimes it can be exhausting keeping things sophisticated, prim, and proper - what's the need to be so serious? Let's jazz it up a little!

Bold Contrasts

Bold and bright contrasting tones to depict opulence and style - an eclectic method for drawing the eye around a room.

Colourful Gardens

The gardens section was of course a must-see for us! We were wowed by the diversity and volume of furniture and luxury items that were on show. We particularly loved Kingsley Smyth's take on theming wooden dining sets around a central colour.

Elegant Geometrics

Our main event was of course the Dream Home - and we were in awe of the beauty of the interior of this massive makeshift house. La Redoute really blew us away with their tasteful use of pattern within the master bedroom. Despite the magnolia walls, they were able to make the space feel bright and young. Quirky mirrors and paintings littered the walls, mushroom shaped lamps gave the room a warm, comforting glow, the most comfortable bed duvet was adorned by fun textured stripes, and cushions, ceramics, and soft furnishings in effortlessly elegant geometric patterns could be found in every corner. Each item in this room was unique and special in its own way which really brought the space together.

And We Were There Too!

Finally - the moment you have all been waiting for - venturing out into the back garden of the Dream Home brought visitors to the Dream Garden where they were met with our products! Inspired by the Playful Nostalgia Edit, Lynne Lambourne spread our garden accessories across every section of the garden. To the right, there was a lounge area adorned with a beautiful pastel pink drinks bar and sprinkled along the contemporary corner sofa were the Green Block Stripe cushions! That frilly edge really added a great texture contrast to the scene. Across the way on the hot pink pickle ball court, you could see The Stripe parasol standing tall and proud. The bold stripe could be seen from far and wide, really capturing the eye of everyone on the top floor! And finally, past the entertaining area and luxurious personal saunas and tucked away from the bustle of the show, a quiet nook surrounded by foliage held more from our Playful Nostalgia Edit. This was by far our favourite section of the Dream Garden, really showcasing the importance of utilising your garden space as a secluded area you can retire to when the noise of everyday life gets too much - a space where you can slow and down and replenish your connection with nature.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the Ideal Home Show 2025 and are so thankful to have been selected as a partner to the event!
